When I try to access my site using https, I get this warning from IE 11: There is a problem with this website’s security certificate. The security certificate presented by this website was issued for a different website's address. Security certificate problems may indicate an attempt to fool you or intercept any data you send to the server. We recommend that you close this webpage and do not continue to this website. What do I need to do to alleviate this error?
I looked at your account and I don't see that you have installed any SSL certificate. If you don't have any certificate installed and bound to your site, the shared SSL certificate will be used (which will cause a name mismatch error) See https://support.everleap.com/kb/a12...-install-a-ssl-certificate-from-everleap.aspx
Sorry for the confusion, but I thought the SNI would eliminate the need for a purchased SSL if you didn't need a static IP. Would you please clarify what the shared certificate is for?
No. SNI basically allow you to bind a certificate to a shared IP address. We have a shared certificate installed using *.el-alt.com domain. Certificate now are fairly cheap nowaday. If you get one, you should use www.hallstreetllc.com as the common name, this will cover hallstreetllc.com as well.
