What's the future of this platform like?
Microsoft has shifted their attention to Windows Azure Stack. We have extended support for our current platform for some years, but we are certainly looking into how to transition in the future. We do not have a definitive plan right now, as we are still researching and doing our due diligence. We are looking at different solutions, including Windows Azure Stack. However, at this time Windows Azure Stack is only available as an appliance. Microsoft has not given us any indication yet if Azure Stack will be available by itself or if it will always be an appliance.
