During our investigation it appears the problem is coming from a connection coming into our data center. We currently have a ticket open with our upstream provider.

At this moment we can't confirm that the problem has been resolved. But we haven't seen any issues for a few hours. We're still see some latency on the incoming network from what appears to be the upstream provider. We'll provide more information on this post as we get it.

The problem with our upstream provider should be resolved now.

There was a Fiber cut somewhere in Santa Ana that caused the issue around 9:30 AM PST today. During that time Level3 rerouted the traffic that was causing the later latency. Since than Level3 has replaced the cut fiber and they state that the problem has been resolved. We'll continue to monitor this situation. If we see any further disruptions we'll go ahead and post it in our community forum.

  8. We got reports of another network hiccup about 30 minutes ago. Has this issue resurfaced?

  9. Specifically, Wait Operation Timed Out errors, which have in the past been related to either SQL server not responding in a timely fashion or network being unavailable.

That network hiccup is most likely a different unrelated issue to the original reason for this forum post. If you're having a problem please open a support ticket.
